Measuring system for determination the bulk density of free flow powder or granulate. The test can provide a gross measure of particle size and dispersion which can affect material flow consistency and reflect packaging quantity. 3 devices are available:
Method A:
Used for fine granular material
V shaped measuring funnel
Capacity of the measuring cup 100 cm³
Used for more coarse granular material than in method A
V shaped measuring funnel
Capacity of the measuring cup 400 cm³
Stand with funnel shut off
Used or flakes, strands, chips and cut fibres
Measuring cylinder 1000 ml capacity
Weight plunger for compressing the material
